Panzerkampfwagen 1 (PKW I)

The right car was found in Sweden. A genuine Type 117 cal-look with a cool history. It had reproduction fenders, 59 doors, one piece windows and some aftermarket front seats.  After arrival in Norway, it received genuine Crestline rims and was lifted in the rear for the right stance.  

I have always loved Greg Aronsons car featured in the february 1975 Hot vws  magazine. The stance, style and performance of this car created what was to be known as the California Look. While not wanting to copy this car,  I always wanted a 1963 California-Look ragtop.  So the search for a suitable project started.
